We entered Elise as a contestant in our city's Beautiful Baby Contest, which took place today (Feb. 21, 2004). It was packed, there were hundreds of babies at the contest. There were two different age categories: 0-7 months, and 8-14 months. Also, boys competed separately from girls. Elise was in the age 0-7 month girl category - AND SHE WON! This qualified her for the State Finals in May - in Indianapolis.
This is Elise with Daddy on stage being evaluated by the judges.

"Did you see that little boy over there wink at me?"
"Hee hee, it doesn't matter if you win or lose as long as you have fun."
The prize-winning outfit Elise wore was given to us by our friend Fe.
